Collecting and Archiving as Creative Process

Provide a critique of each collection. Title your collection in the title field and make sure you add your byline (your name). For example: Wildlife Eating Orange Foods by Onetwo Three
Key questions to address in crits:
1. How cohesive is the collection?
2. Unity: How is the collection unified? Composition, subject matter, concept, etc.
3. Variety: Too much or not enough?

The three dominate colors create unity. There is a variety of poses but the overall piece does not feel varied. Does that make sense? Lots of action.
ReplyDeleteSeems to be a lot of the same photo, but still cohesive with the action and colors.
ReplyDeleteha, this is soooo awesome! violence is great stuff. i understand everything and the pictures are consistent. AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteA little lacking in variety but I like the title and follows its theme.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this collection needs lots of variety, I like the blend of complex movement with the simple color scheme and layout of the photos. A very unified concept and presentation, I thought. There is one photo that doesn't seem to fit, though, when the two are separated and one is raising their fist. This seems to be a shot taken after the main action.
