Collecting and Archiving as Creative Process
Assignment 1: Compile 15 images that together form a collection. Load the images on to the blog.
Provide a critique of each collection. Title your collection in the title field and make sure you add your byline (your name). For example: Wildlife Eating Orange Foods by Onetwo Three
Key questions to address in crits:
1. How cohesive is the collection?
2. Unity: How is the collection unified? Composition, subject matter, concept, etc.
3. Variety: Too much or not enough?

Love your choice of images, not sure about the title. Lots of variety.
ReplyDeleteVery cool idea - cohesive, yet still shows the diversity of what thresholds can be.
ReplyDeletethese are pictures of places you can enter right. They make me a bit sad because of the kids in the first picture. besides that i think it's a cool idea and the picture continuously shows what your title implies. (in my own mind, i guess)
ReplyDeleteI liked the images, they were varied, but still stood in a well established context.
ReplyDeleteVery very cool. I like how with a lot of these it is easily recognizable where they were taken. Also, kudos on including people in all of these shots - without the people to live and enter and exit and lean and crouch, these thresholds would not hold as much interest. Nicely unified with great variety. Thumbs up!
