Collecting and Archiving as Creative Process

Assignment 1: Compile 15 images that together form a collection. Load the images on to the blog.
Provide a critique of each collection. Title your collection in the title field and make sure you add your byline (your name). For example: Wildlife Eating Orange Foods by Onetwo Three

Key questions to address in crits:
1. How cohesive is the collection?
2. Unity: How is the collection unified? Composition, subject matter, concept, etc.
3. Variety: Too much or not enough?

Drinks

Charlie Cole

I wasn't sure if you could edit these. If not, I have the originals still.

These are various alcoholic beverages on the run from inevitable doom. I took them and then drew on them with a tablet. I wanted to call this Alcoholocaust but I wasn't sure if that would be appropriate.

  3. I like that any humans featured are drawn in. It really brings the viewer into the Bottles' personal hell. I thought it was very clever! Nicely done not having just the bottle centered, the varied layout makes it more interesting.

  4. You have a talent for seeing something in things others do not. I really liked the poses you put on the cans and bottles. It makes the viewer relate and sometimes sympathize with them.
